Brantford Police have arrested a man wanted for attempted murder after a weekend stabbing.
30-year-old Albert Michael James Hilliker was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he was spotted by detectives near Drummond and Dalhousie streets.
He was wanted for attempted murder after a 34-year-old woman was stabbed on Erie Avenue on Sunday.
Police say she is recovering.
Hilliker is in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
