Annaleise Carr sets date to finish swim

First Published:

Annaleise Carr has a tentative date for finishing the last leg of her swim across Lake Erie.

While the 16-year-old successfully swam 42 km from Erie, Pennsylvania to Long Point last month, her goal was a 75 km swim that would have brought her to Port Dover.

The plan now is to go back to Long Point on August 31st and do a 12 hour swim that will see her arrive in Port Dover around the dinner hour. Last month’s swim raised $170,000 for Camp Trillium, a camp for children with cancer.
