The Ancaster sailing coach facing sexual assault charges was back in court on Wednesday.

Sean Hewson is expected back in court on September 24th. He faces charges including sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and sexual exploitation.

Wednesday’s court date is one more step in setting a trial date.

Seven males, including four former members of the Burlington Sailing and Boating Club, have come forward with allegations they say occurred when they were between the ages of 13 and 16-years-old.

Hewson also previously worked at the YMCA in Oakville and Burlington and the Oakville and Bronte yacht clubs.

He is under strict conditions after being released on $50,000 bail.
