Seeing is disbelieving!

In Cirque du Soleil’s new show Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities, senses are sharpened with a museum’s worth of quirky antique props and multiple eye-popping circus routines.

In an imaginary 19th century setting, we meet an eccentric inventor suddenly lost in a realm of his own inhabited by odd characters, bizarre creatures, brave adventurers and ridiculous clowns. In this place where the possible and impossible meet, imagination and reality bash together only to disintigrate.

The show dazzles, puzzles, is breath-holding with a series of astonishing circus acts, a cast of 46 from 13 countries displaying an extraordinary ability to transfix and entertain.

Was my vision and imagination being deceived, or was i seeing reality? For sure, I was entertained.

Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities plays under Cirque du Soleil’s big top tent at Toronto’s port lands through October 26th.
