It’s that time of year again, where hundreds get together in Hamilton to watch some of the world’s best feature films. Over the next 10 days, the Art Gallery of Hamilton is hosting the World Film Festival. More than 300 film lovers will gather tonight, for the screening of “A Quiet Passion”. The movie starring Cynthia Nixon was also showcased at TIFF.

Some other big names, the film “Cafe Society” by Woody Allen and the premiere “Last Folio”, which follows Slovakian-Canadian photographer Yuri Dojc as he takes journey into Slovakia’s Jewish community. 6 different venues will be used to screen the 39 films. Tickets remain available for some of the films. The festival runs until the 23rd.
