Mystery millionaire holds $23.3M winning ticket

The winner of a $23.3 million lottery ticket that was sold in the Hamilton region knows they hit the jackpot but haven’t claimed their prize.

The OLG has confirmed that the winning ticket has been validated at a retail location but no one has gone to the Prize Centre yet in Toronto to claim it.

The LOTTO 6/49 ticket was for the Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 draw worth $23,324,912.20.

Details of where the ticket was purchased will be revealed once the winner goes through the prize claim review process to confirm they are the rightful owner of the ticket.

The next LOTTO 6/49 draw is on Wednesday, Feb. 7 for an estimated $9 million jackpot plus the Guaranteed $1 million prize draw.
