Foul play not suspected after body found in St. Catharines

Niagara police say foul play is not suspected after a body was discovered in a creek in St. Catharines.

Police were called to the area of Gale Cres. and Frank St. around 11:30 a.m. yesterday morning.

The call came in as a possible drowning. Police did not offer many details.

The area was blocked off by police tape and divers were brought in to recover the body.

Police have not released the name of the individual or any other details.
