More airlines added to the list of new Aeroplan partners

First Published:

Two more airlines are getting on board and have signed Aeroplan partnership agreements with Montreal-based Aimia Inc.

The partnership will take effect in two years as Aeroplan’s current agreement with Air Canada ends in 2020.

Last week, Aimia announced a partnership with Porter Airlines and now has announced partnerships with Air Transat and Flair Airlines.

Airlines can start collecting points once the deal takes effect.

Aimia says it remains open to negotiating a fair deal with Air Canada and indicated that it would consider an offer of at least $450 million.
