Crystal

First Published:

The artistry of Cirque Du Soleil will be on display as their big on ice production, called Crystal, begins in Hamilton today. The show’s star is a Mississauga native, who is excited to be performing at home for the first time.

High flying acrobatics combined with the grace of figure skating, the show Crystal wants to combine the best of both worlds.

The international cast consists of forty performers, with a 50/50 split between acrobats and skaters.

Jerome Sordillon has been involved in acrobatics since he was four.

Sordillon plays the love interest of Mississauga’s Nobahar Dadui. She has been skating professionally for ten years. In the show, she also performs acrobatics with straps.

While Dadui’s character is on a journey to find herself, Dadui is excited that after 10 years of performing elsewhere, she’s found herself at home able to perform in front of family and friends.

From today until Sunday, the performers will be show-casing Crystal at The FirstOntario Centre.
