Hamilton’s rock band The Arkells are gearing up for one of the biggest shows of their lives, an outdoor concert at Tim Horton’s Field.

The stage is already going up for the performance on Saturday.

It will be their only concert in the area this summer.

The Arkells are proudly a Hamilton band as seen in their latest video People’s Champ, and if you look closely you’ll see a few steel town hot spots.

A dollar from every ticket sold to this weekends rally will be donated to Refuge Hamilton Centre for Newcomer Health.

More big news for the band, they are teaming up with a local entrepreneur to launch a sports bar called “Odds” at James Street South and Augusta. It’s expected to open on Sunday.
