Man charged for stunt driving with 2 kids in car in Hamilton

A Toronto man has been charged with stunt driving after police clocked a vehicle going nearly 60 kilometres over the speed limit on the Red Hill Valley Parkway.

Shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday, officers saw a Honda CRV travelling at a high rate of speed near Greenhill Ave.

Police pulled over a 26-year-old driver and discovered two children were also inside the vehicle. Police say the CRV was caught going 146 km/hr in a 90 km/hr zone.

The driver was charged with driving while under suspension, stunt driving and speeding. He is schedule to appear in court later Tuesday.

The vehicle was impounded for seven days and an addition seven-day suspension was given to the driver.
