Kensington Palace has announced the Dutchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy.
The palace says the child was born at 11:01 a.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital in London., weighing 8 lbs, 7 oz.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

The baby is Kate and Prince William’s third child and is fifth in line to the throne.
“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.
The newest addition to the royal family is a younger brother to Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2,
The name of the new baby has not yet been announced.
