Police investigate home invasion on Hamilton Mountain

A 45-year-old man was taken to hospital following a home invasion on Hamilton Mountain Thursday morning.

It happened shortly before 9 a.m. in the area of Upper Wellington St. and Stone Church Rd. East.

Police say three men were involved in the incident and one of the men was carrying a knife.

The men assaulted the victim and fled in a black coloured sedan.

Police describe all three suspects as white and in their thirties.

Hamilton police believe the attack was targeted and there is no risk to public safety.

Police are asking anyone who may have information that could help with the investigation to contact detectives at 905-546-3851.
