Stoney Creek Generals win the 2018 Allan Cup

The Stoney Creek Generals brought home the 110th Allan Cup defeating the Lacombe Generals 7-4 on Sunday.

The game was tied 3-3 when the Stoney Creek Generals took advantage in the third period and scored four goals to take home the win.

The Lacombe Generals won the Cup in 2016 and played in eight finals since 2008 before losing to the Stoney Creek Generals in Rosetown, Saskatchewan.

The Allan Cup is awarded to the Canadian national senior amateur men’s hockey champions and has been competed for since 1909.
