Montreal man wanted on Canada Wide Warrant

A Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for a man in connection with a human trafficking case.

Malik Desir, 22, is wanted after an 18-year-old woman was assaulted during a dispute in a Niagara Falls hotel room on Feb. 25.

Desir is facing charges of alleged aggravated assault, robbery, trafficking in persons and several other offences.

He is said to have ties to the Montreal, Quebec area.

Niagara Regional Police have arrested two other men in relation to this case.

Dave Guillaume, 18, and Jamal Desir, 20, both of Quebec have been charged with alleged aggravated assault, robbery, trafficking in persons and several other offences.

Both Guillaume and Desir are currently being held in custody following a bail hearing.
