Peel police have identified a second person accused of beating a man with autism in Mississauga last week.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for 21-year-old Parmvir ‘Parm’ Singh Chahil, of no fixed address.

Police had previously identified 25-year-old Ronjot Singh Dhami as a suspect in the vicious beating after investigators received “overwhelming tips from the community.”

Both men are wanted for aggravated assault.

According to The Canadian Press, a lawyer representing Dhami says his client is not guilty of the attack that drew outrage from across the country.

Jag Virk said his client would turn himself in to police but he maintains his innocence.

Police released a video of the incident that happened around 10:45 p.m. on March 13 in an effort to identify the suspects.

The victim can be seen sitting at the bottom of a stairwell putting on rollerblades when three mean approach from behind and began to punch and kick him.

Police say the man suffered a broken nose and facial cuts.

The third man involved in the incident has not yet been identified. Police say he may go by the first name of Jason.

Anyone who see Chahil or Dhami is asked to call police immediately and do not approach as they are considered “extremely dangerous.”
