Two dead after shooting outside bowling alley

First Published:

Toronto police say a man killed outside a bowling alley in North York last night was the intended target in a shooting but another woman an innocent bystander was also gunned down.

32-year-old Thanh Ten Ngo was gunned down outside Playtime Bowl and Entertainment just after 10 o’clock.

Police and paramedics were called to the bowling alley and pronounced Ngo dead at the scene.

29-year-old Ruma Amar was also found suffering from gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a trauma centre but later pronounced dead while in hospital.

Police say Amar was with her husband and younger sister at the time of the shooting and had no connection to Ngo or the shooters.
