Ikea brand candy recalled due to mice infestation

First Published:

Ikea brand marshmallow candy is being recalled due to possible contamination from a “mice infestation” at the manufacturing plant.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the candy may contain harmful bacteria.

The recall is for all 100-gram packages of the candy which comes in a pink bag with the words “Marshmallow candy” below the Ikea name “Godis Paskkyckling.”

The affected product has been sold from Ikea stores in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, and Alberta.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with eating the candy.

Anyone who has the product should throw it out or return it to the store where it was purchased.
