It was an historic day on the markets, with the DOW seeing its worst single day point decline in history.
At one point today, the DOW Jones in the U.S. had lost almost 1600 points. And while it gained some of that ground back throughout the afternoon, it didn’t recover much by the close, ending the day more than 4.5% On this side the border, the loss was nowhere near as bad, with the TSX off by 271 points.
