Brantford man charged with attempted murder

A Brantford man has been charged with attempted murder in a fight that sent another man to hospital.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called to a home on Brant Rd. in Brant County around 5 p.m. Saturday.

Police say two men inside the home were arguing when the confrontation turned physical.

One of them used what police are calling an “edged weapon,” leaving  the other with serious injuries.

Police arrested 36-year-old Justin Sherwood without incident.

He’s been charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
