An investigation into human trafficking has led to the arrest of two men from Hamilton.

Niagara police say they received information over the weekend that two young girls were involved in the sex trade.

On Saturday, officers went to a hotel in Niagara Falls where the girls were allegedly being housed.

Members of Detective Services and the Special Investigative Services Morality Unit continued the investigation and arrested two men on Sunday.

Jeradaine Foster, 24, and Shamaree Salmon, 23, have been charged with trafficking persons under 18 years and receiving material benefit contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
