A 56-year-old man has died after he was ejected from his motorcycle in Dunnville on Sunday.

Police say the man was travelling eastbound on Highway 3 near Crown Rd. around 5 p.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle and went into the ditch.

He was ejected from the bike and was taken to hospital but later died.

The man’s name is not being released until next of kin is notified.

“We are trying to piece the puzzle together and determining exactly what transpired so we can get some answers for the family,” said OPP Cst. Ed Sanchuk

Highway 3 was closed between Hutchinson Road and Crown Road for about eight hours but has since reopened.
