Woman, 33, charged in St. Catharines stabbing

A 32-year-old woman is in hospital after a stabbing at home in St. Catharines.

Police were called to a home on Queenston St. for reports of an assault.

Officers found a 32-year-old woman with stab wounds to her upper body. She was transported to a St. Catharines hospital and later taken to an out region hospital and is currently in the intensive care unit.

Crystal Fraser, 33, has been charged with aggravated assault.

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call Niagara police.
