A Friday night home invasion on the Hamilton Mountain has left a homeowner with minor injuries with three suspects still at large.

The invasion happened just after 11 p.m. in the area of Templemead Drive between Upper Gage Avenue and Upper Ottawa Street.

Video footage suggests that three family members were in the home at the time. Hamilton police said that only the home owner sustained minor injuries. Unconfirmed reports suggest someone was stabbed and three men took off carrying guns. These details have not been confirmed by police.

Police have said that they believe the home was targeted and no one was significantly injured. The investigation is ongoing.
