A crash on the Highway 401 in Cambridge caused a serious backlog of traffic for a good part of Saturday.

An 8 a.m. collision between two transport trucks completely closed the 401 for several hours going westbound at Cedar Creek. The highway was reopened before 3 p.m.

Police said one truck jack-knifed when it smashed into the other. Luckily enough both drivers walked away without any injuries.
