Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland paid a visit to her American counterpart in Washington, D.C. today and says she’s confident President Donald Trump will see that working closely with Canada benefits both nations’ economies.

Three Canadian cabinet ministers have visited Capitol Hill ahead of an upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Trudeau and President Donald Trump.  The first meeting between the two leaders could come as early as next week.
