Madeleine Petrielli identified as 15 yr old killed by a car in Mississauga

Peel police have identified the 15 year-old girl who died Friday night in Mississauga, after being hit by a car, as Madeleine Petrielli.

A gofundme page has been set up to help cover funeral costs.

Petrielli and a 17 year-old boy were crossing against a red light at the intersection of Britannia Road and Glen Erin Drive, when she was hit by a car.

The 70 year-old man driving the car stayed at the scene and has been cooperating with police.
