Wayne Gretzky named official NHL Ambassador

The NHL announced that Wayne Gretzky will be the official ambassador of the league’s Centennial celebration this year.

The Great One and number 99 will be making appearances at various events beginning with the Centennial Classic on January 1st at BMO Field between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings.

Other events include unveiling 100 greatest players in history happening during all star weekend in Los Angeles.
