Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton faced off in their first U.S. Presidential debate last night at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York

Among the issues, the two candidates sparred over included taxation, race, fighting terrorism and nuclear policy.

Both Trump and Clinton said they will accept the outcome of the election if the other wins.

Election day is just six weeks away and the latest polls show the race is extremely close.

A group of American voters from ‘Democrats Abroad’ watched the debate together in Hamilton and shared how they thought the debate went.
