French President Francois Hollande suggests the Islamic State Group is behind a deadly hostage taking at a church earlier today.

Two hostage takers slit the throat of an 84 year old priest, killing him in a church near the northern city of Rouen, police then killed the hostage takers.

Another person in the church was critically injured. Reports say there were four to six people held in the church, including the priest and two nuns.

French President Hollande calls it a “vile terrorist attack” and says it’s another sign that France is at war with Islamic State, which has claimed a string of attacks on France.
