The LRT project has been compared to the construction that took place on Concession street last year. That project was just a small taste of what businesses on King will experience. For some stores it was short term pain for long term gain and the revitalization has drawn new businesses to the area.

5 businesses on Concession street made a decision to close shop before construction. It was tough 9 months for many but the BIA says during that time no stores closed. Since completion, 4 new ones have opened their doors.
