Possible postal strike

First Published:

On July 2nd, postal workers across the country will be in position to walk off the job and Canada Post will be able to lock them out. That situation makes a work stoppage even more likely, which means sending or receiving mail through Canada Post could come to a screeching halt. And even though most people email, instead of sending letters, a disruption in postal service would be devastating for local businesses.

Some of the biggest issues the two sides are fighting about, are door to door delivery, postal banking and cuts to jobs and pensions.
