Fatal crash in Oakville

A 28-year-old man from Milton has been killed in a motorcycle crash near the Ford plant in Oakville.

It happened just before 4:30am Friday morning on The Canadian Road near Royal Windsor Drive.

No word yet on the cause of the crash. Halton Regional Police’s collision reconstruction unit is investigating.

A small section of The Canadian Road north of Royal Windsor Drive is closed for the investigation.

Police have not yet released the man’s identity. His family has been notified.
