At least two are dead and more than 16 hurt after a nightclub shooting in Florida.

Police said the shooting took place early Monday morning at a club in Fort Myers, Florida.

The parking lot of the club is littered with bullet casings as officials are combing the scene.

There are two other scenes connected to the nightclub shooting. Officers have detained one person of interest in connection to the shooting.

Monday’s shooting comes more than a month after a nightclub shooting in Orlando that was the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. History.

The shooting at Pulse Nightclub in June killed 40 people and injured 53 others.
