The rainy weather did not deter locals from competing in the 15th Annual Binbrook Ice Fishing Derby.
Participants were trying to catch the largest crappie, which is a small fish that can weigh up to two pounds. There was an adult and kids category, with prizes for each. Brett Harrington from the Glanbrook Conservation Authority says that this year was their largest turn out yet.
