15 injured in B.C. Bus crash

First Published:

Medical officials say five people are in critical condition and 10 others have been seriously injured after a tour bus crashed in a British Columbia mountain pass.

56 passengers were aboard the bus when it rolled over on the Coquihalla Highway, 30km south of Merritt.

B.C.’s interior health agency also says 28 people suffered lesser injuries.

Police say the bus, which was returning to Vancouver after a trip through the Rocky Mountains, was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

The cause is under investigation.
