Detectives continue to investigate the shooting that took place at a home on Aberdeen, but on February 14th police arrested and charged a 21 year old man, who lived in the home, and a 23 year old man, with trafficking.  During a search at the residence police seized over 40 grams of cocaine estimated at the street value of $4000, and over 70 grams of marijuana estimated at the street value of $700. They face charges of possession for the purposes of trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana.

On February 8th, Annie Francisci was shot in the stomach inside the home on Aberdeen, not far from Locke street. The house was taped off all day yesterday and forensics officers collected evidence from inside and in the alley behind the house. Detectives say they found the gun they believe was used but won’t say what kind. We heard from multiple sources that it was a shotgun.

Francisci works at a neighbourhood bakery and is a grad of George Brown college. She’s still in hospital recovering from what were initially described as life threatening injuries. We were told Francisci doesn’t live in the house and that her boyfriend rents the third floor apartment.
